Disney Channel invites viewers to create their own New Year’s Eve programming event by voting for their favorite episodes, moments, music videos and more in online polls at DisneyChannel.com. Beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20, three new polls will roll out each Friday inviting viewers to vote in a total of 18 categories, including Favorite Episodes and Favorite Guest Star. Fans can also vote for their Top 10 favorite music videos of 2009, and the songs will air on Radio Disney. Voting will determine the New Year’s Eve programming lineup, entitled “New Year’s Star Showdown,” airing THURSDAY, DECEMBER 31 (6:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel. Throughout the night, Disney Channel will air sneak peeks of upcoming Disney Channel and Disney XD series and original movies including the much-anticipated “Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam.”
Last year nearly 33.7 million online votes were cast during the “Totally New Year” programming event. This year, every time one of the online polls is completed, users will unlock that week’s digital prize and reveal a piece of the mystery puzzle. Prizes include a 2010 printable calendar, New Year’s Eve party decorations and games. Fans can also test their Disney Channel knowledge in new online trivia games every week.
During the “New Year’s Eve Star Showdown” programming lineup, favorite Disney Channel stars will compete in five Game Show challenges: “So Random,” “Last Star Standing,” “Sound Off,” “Quick Draw” and the “New Years Eve Countdown Game.”

Selena Gomez is reportedly in-talks to star in a “book turned movie” called “The Seven Rays“. The Official Twitter account confirmed that they met Selena for lunch to talk about the movie.
The book follows seventeen year-old honor student Beth Michaels who starts receiving gold envelopes with messages like, “YOU ARE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE”. She thinks that a crazy person might be stalking her.
When she begins seeing people’s thoughts, feelings, and personal histories on their electromagnetic fields, she thinks that she might be a crazy person. And then when the hottest boy in town, Richie Mac, kisses and becomes obsessed with her, she knows that something’s up. But she can deal with all of that until her mom gets freaked out by her erratic behavior and sends her to a psychiatric institute for observation.
It is here where Beth finds out that she was adopted under mysterious circumstances and perhaps has supernatural powers. Now all she has to do is break out of the ward – with Richie’s help – and road trip to New York to discover who she really is and why all this is happening to her… Is it possible that Beth might be more than she thinks she is? And at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star told MTV News that they have a video for the song coming out shortly too.The 17-year-old singer said that the video, which she shot on November 14, will have her fans seeing her in a brand-new way. "The video is very different from any other video that I've done," she said. "It has a lot more fierce clothes and a lot of fun colors."
In October, Gomez sat down with MTV News to talk about the album, which she was relieved to see finally on the shelves. "I have been working on it for a good two years now, so for it to finally be out is this huge thing lifted off my chest," she said. "And it feels amazing. I hope my fans like it."
The album, which also features first single "Falling Down," wasn't entirely penned by Gomez, but she said she was very picky about the songs she chose. "I wanted to make sure, A) I can relate to it, and B) my fans can relate to it, and it's something that I went through," she explained. "And all of those songs are things that I went through, and that's why I put that all together."

Yesterday Selena mentioned on her facebook that the music video for "Naturally" Will premiere on December 11th. Excited??! I can't even explain how much I'm excited for this music video. Also be sure to request the song on your local radio station. I think Radio Disney started playing it. And the photos from the music video set will be out soon so keep checking the site

Lamentablemente fui a tal evento en donde MIERDELENA "canto". Ademas de que ni sabe cantar , no sabe bailar ni moverse en el escenario como otras divas (MC & DL) se quedaba bien paradota haciendo pasos y movimientos tan ridiCULOS que toda la gente se reia y le daba pezar.
Ademas de todo lo peor de esta terrible noche , la OXIGENADA no encontro nada que ponerse mas que la ropa de su EXCLUSIVISIMO diseñador (SU ABUELA) .Hay ! con sus vestidos anticuados que parecian de los años 60-70 o mas! de la PREHISTORIA ( QUE ES JUSTO DE DONDE VINO)
