Lookout Usher, Atlanta has a new face in town! talking about Ajah Onu, a silky smooth brother with a voice that will make your heart melt, and a face to ensure that it does.
Born to a Nigerian father and American mother, Jah Onu, as he likes to be called, is causing a stir in Atlanta. His sharp dance moves coupled with the catchy rhythms that he produces, have made him quite the man to watch on stage. What is even more impressive is that he does his own choreography, and writes his own melodies. Talk about talented!
Ajah Onu
Jah’s style is afro-pop blended with reggae tones and pidgin. His musical journey stared when he joined a singing trio, Ax’ent, in 2002. Although it didn’t go very far, his experience with the group helped hone his musical skills. He studied the musical genius of Michael Jackson, P-Square, 2Face, and Bobby Brown and pulled from their different entertainment elements to craft his style.
He is currently working on his debut album to be released soon.
