MOTHER of the governor of Cross River State, Mrs. Comfort Imoke (Nee Imoukhuode) is dead.
She died in the early hours of yesterday at the age of 81.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Liyel Imoke, Mr. Pat Ugbe, the deceased was described as a pioneer community and public healthcare delivery expert, who devoted her lifetime to serving her community. She is survived by six children. Her burial arrangement will be announced later by the family.
